Chapter 1 โ Firearms
Section 1.001. Rights of San Andreas residents
(1) Residents of the Commonwealth of San Andreas who are citizens of the State shall have the right to purchase or otherwise acquire rifles, shotguns, handguns, and any other firearms which they are permitted to purchase or otherwise acquire under federal law and the San Andreas Revised Statutes from properly licensed dealers.
(2) All such sales shall conform to the requirements of federal law, the San Andreas Revised Statutes, and applicable local ordinances.
Section 1.002 License to carry concealed deadly weapon -- Issuance and denial of licenses.
(1) The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is authorized to issue and deny licenses to carry concealed firearms or other deadly weapons, or a combination thereof, to persons qualified as provided in this section.

Chapter 2 โ Marijuana
Section 2.001 - Possession Maximum & Use
(1) The Commonwealth of San Andreas allows a person to possess no more than 2oz (ounces) of marijuana on their person or at any given time. Possessions in quantities exceeding this amount are subject to arrest and penalties.
(2) Marijuana is legal for recreational use but only within private conditions. This could be a person's own home, friends home etc. Even though a personโs vehicle is an extension of their private property, this does not extend to a person's privately owned vehicle when the vehicle is out in public locations.
Section 2.002 - Possession of plants and growing
(1) A person is allowed to grow their own cannabis but is not to possess more than 4 plants at any given time. This includes the combination of both growing and drying plants.
(2) An individual is only allowed to grow for their own personal use and is not permitted to sell or distribute any growth without a vendor's license.
