How to setup Sonoran CAD
1. Create a Sonoran CAD Account
Go to Sonoran CAD’s website here and sign up for an account if you don’t have one yet. You will need to provide an email address, username, and password.
After registration, verify your email to activate your account.
2. Accessing Sonoran CAD
FiveM Integration: Sonoran CAD can be used directly within FiveM for seamless RP. To use it, simply type the CAD command (/cad in chat or keybind) to bring up the CAD interface in-game.
Additionally you can open your web browser and go here.
Desktop: You can also go to Sonoran's website and download the desktop client here.
Once in one of the clients, log in using the credentials you created.
3. Link Your Account to the Server
Once your account is active and you're signed in, you'll need to join our servers Sonoran community. You can do this using the web, desktop or in game clients and entering the community ID egnrp.
Once in the community you can gain access to our LEO, Civ, Fire using the following permission keys:
ExzodusCiv (Civilians)
ExzodusLEO (Law Enforcement)
ExzodusFIRE (Fire/Rescue/EMS)
For additional permissions keys to gain access to the DOJ or Dispatch, you must first join one of them respectively. Additionally to gain access to supervisor permissions you must contact the high command of your department.
4. Set Up Your Character Profile
Create Your Character: After logging in, joining the community and entering all necessary permission keys, you'll need to create your character within the CAD system. This must 100% match your characters database information that is used when creating them in the character selector. This information includes:
Character Name (First and Last).
Age
Any additional Info: licenses, permits, housing or vehicle info.
Save Your Character: Once all fields are filled in, save your character.
5. Using Sonoran CAD During RP Logging Calls and Activities:
Police: As a police officer, you can create traffic stops, arrests, report incidents and file citations. All of this gets logged in the CAD system, making it easy to track interactions.
EMS/Fire: You can log medical calls, track patients, file medical/fire reports and handle emergencies.
Civilian: As a civilian, you can also interact with the system by checking for any fines or issues logged against you and adding more information as needed.
Dispatch Role:
If you’re acting as dispatch, you can create new calls, assign units to incidents, and track the progress of emergency situations. The dispatch system allows you to manage real-time communications with law enforcement, EMS, and other units. In addition to having Sonoran Radio, you can sign in and dispatch for units using the web or desktop clients of Sonoran CAD and Sonoran Radio simultaneously with communication to in game units without ever having to join the server.
6. Managing Your Logs and Reports
All your actions in the CAD, such as arrests, citations, medical calls, and traffic stops, are automatically logged.
You can view your past activities, reports, and actions directly in the CAD interface however most reports can only be edited or removed by a supervisor or higher with the exception of Civilian information.
7. Specialized Features (Based on Server Settings)
Our server uses a wide range of custom features with Sonoran CAD. These include:
Custom 10 codes.
Special forms for reporting certain activities (e.g., vehicle impounds, property reports).
Bodycam functionality (Units must use /bodycam) allowing dispatch to watch units directly and monitor safety.
Simplified vehicle registration using /reg while inside of any vehicle and much more!
