🚀Discord Rules

Good to know: All of these rules pertain to everyone who joins the Exzodus Gaming Network community. They apply to these members in not only the main discord server but any/all affiliated discords as well.

Introductory

This document states the rules every member must abide by at all times. Violation of these rules can and will result in disciplinary action up-to and including a permanent ban from the EGN community.

By accessing Exzodus Gaming Network servers, be it the ExzodusRP FiveM server, the Exzodus Gaming Network Discord server or any other server operated by Exzodus Gaming Network, you are agreeing that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the rules within this document.

Any assets created for use by the Exzodus Gaming Network Community, including but not limited to FiveM department Discords, documents, lists, images, and other media, as same with anything created for other game server related content are automatically the property of Exzodus Gaming Network. Any unauthorized removal, defacement, or any other alteration will result in a permanent ban.

One of our biggest policies here is that everyone is welcome and are open to all possibilities. We’re a community for the community and it comes first. Coming straight from our founders Respawn & Zaid; "Everyone is welcome without discrimination and regardless of past experiences in other servers until he/she commits an act within this community that deems them no longer welcome!"

Discord Rules

The following rules apply to the Exzodus Gaming Network Discord server and any of its alternative Discords, including official ExzodusRP department Discord servers and any/all servers created under the name and/or for any use within roleplay for ExzodusRP. The Exzodus Staff Team has the final say on what does or does not constitute a rule violation and will not be debated.

Rule #1: Be Respectful

All members of this community are required and expected to show respect and consideration for others. We understand not everyone will agree on all topics, but we require all members to remain civil at all times. Insults, harassment, discrimination, trolling and toxicity will not be tolerated.

Rule #2: NSFW Content

The posting of sexually explicit, violent or other graphic content is strictly prohibited.

Rule #3: Illicit Activity

Any activity that violates Discord TOS or US law is prohibited.

Rule #4: Spam

Spamming of links, images, emojis, stickers or any other content is prohibited within all channels. Furthermore, mic spamming within voice channels is also prohibited.

Rule #5: Profanity

Players may use profanity in text chats and voice channels, however it is to be kept to a minimum. A rule of thumb to remember, although GTA is a 17+ rated game, there are times that minors may be present or some members may be live streaming.

Rule #6: Politics, Religion, Gender, Sexual Orientation

The topics of politics, religion, gender, sexual orientation etc. are strictly prohibited from discussion in any/all chats within the Exzodus Gaming Network Discord and any of its alternative Discords.

Rule #7: No Doxing/Sharing Personal Information

The sharing of ANY personally identifiable information is strictly forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: phone numbers, names, addresses, state/country of residence, age, IP address etc. It also includes the sharing of private messages, recorded calls, text messages etc.

Rule #8: English Only Chat

The use of any language other than English is forbidden in all chats.

Rule #9: No Exploiting/Sharing of Exploits

Do not share or exploit any bugs found in the ExzodusRP server. Please report these via a support ticket in the main Discord.

Rule #10: Advertising of Other Game Servers

Advertising other game servers is strictly prohibited. This includes direct messaging community members, posting links in chats and any/all verbal advertising within voice channels and within servers.

Rule #11: Offensive Names, Icons, or Imagery

Offensive names, profile pictures, icons, and imagery of any kind is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be in violation of this rule, you may be directed to change your Discord name, profile picture, etc. Failure or refusal to do so will result in a ban.

Rule #12: Exploiting Discord Roles

Any member with the ability to assign roles caught giving another member roles that the receiving member is not entitled to will be banned.

Rule #13: Chats/Media Channels

While we encourage the use of all of our chats for communication, it’s crucial to keep chats clean and to their respective purposes. An example of this would be using media for all media and server-media for only server related media content, no long conversations in media channels etc.

Rule #14: Screen Sharing

Whilst screen sharing games in voice channels is acceptable, it is not acceptable to share active gameplay, recordings, live streams etc. of other game servers similar to which EGN hosts itself. Right now this would only include other FiveM servers.

Ban Appeals

In most cases, if you are banned for a rule violation, you may appeal it by creating a Ban Appeal ticket in the main Discord. To do so, visit the appropriate channel in Discord.

When opening a ban appeal, please keep the following rules in mind:

1. Players may NOT submit a ban appeal on behalf of another member. Opening a ban appeal for a third-party may result in disciplinary action or the automatic denial of the third-party’s appeal should they open one themselves.

2. Do NOT discuss your ban outside of your ban appeal ticket. This could result in an automatic denial of your appeal. This includes messaging staff about your ban!

3. Please provide the following information specified when opening a ticket. Failure to do so could result in delays or a denial of your appeal.

3a.) In game name(steam or discord)

3b.) Date/Time of ban

3c.) Who banned you

3d.) Why were you banned

3e.) If applicable, your Ban ID number

1. Please do NOT touch any of the ticket controls once the ticket is open. Doing so could result in delays or a denial of your appeal.

2. Players may NOT open multiple ban appeals for the same ban. Violation of this rule may result in additional disciplinary action, up to and including a permanent ban.

Summary

All rules within this document are applicable to all members of this community at all times. Exzodus Gaming Network Staff have final say of what does or does not constitute a rule violation. While the staff team doesn’t wish to remove any member from this community, we do reserve the right to remove any member at any time for any reason. Remember to always treat your fellow community members and the staff team with respect at all times. Being a member of this community is a privilege, not a right - this privilege may be revoked if you pose a risk to this community in any way.
